Why Do We Give?

Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. We believe that Jesus calls us to radical generosity, so we give out of the gladness of our hearts.

  • What is Impact?

Impact is Thrive Church’s initiative to support local and global missions and future projects.

  • Impact Partners

Through Impact, we are able to support many missionaries; both local and global. Some of our local partners are: Chi Alpha in Stevens Point, Adult and Teen Challenge, Youth Alive. We currently partner with 20 global ministries and missionaries that work all over the world.

  • Impact Projects

Impact Projects are global, local, and future-minded projects that we take on with the goal of making a generation impact. These projects are things that include renovations, construction, and supporting kids with scholarships to send them to summer camps.

Global

Our 2026 Goals for Impact are to take a missions trip to Eurasia in December and aid in building a Church in Thailand.

Local

This year we want to support Bridge Street Mission in their initiatives and take a trip to City on a Hill in Milwaukee in the Summer.

Future

Our Future Project for this year is renovating the lobby in our church.

Global

In 2025, we took one missions trip to Moldova, where we took part in building a church. We also supported the construction of a church in Thailand. We gave to Convoy of Hope in disaster relief efforts and the One Day To Feed The World Initiative. We also raised money to purchase a motorcycle for a Pastor in India.

Local

We supported Bridge Street Mission and gave to start a Teen and Adult Challenge in Wausau.

Future

We gave to Spencer Lake Campground, contributing towards their tunnel project, so that pedestrians could safely cross a state highway without danger. We gave to Chi Alpha in Steven’s Point, a college age ministry. We sent kids and youth to Camp with scholarships. We also replaced our main entrances with new doors.
